During this past fashion month (AW15), we continued to see a 70's retro vibe on the runway. And let me tell you, this fashionista was not complaining one bit! I've always been drawn to retro styles: flared jeans, obnoxious amounts of fringe, leather skirts, and eye catching fabrics. Before moving to London, I "borrowed" so many items from my mom's closet that she may or may not ever see again... (sorry mom) I used some of her vintage pieces to complete this look and make an off the runway outfit more down to earth and affordable. This baby blue textured sweater is even from 1978! Talk about a great vintage gem that will never go out of style.
