Hello Fall! Bring on the hot cocoa, pumpkin patches and all those fall feels. But first I wanted to bring you up to speed on the blog.
The past eleven months have been nothing less than pure chaos - between getting a visa, starting a new job, being extremely busy with the job, traveling every month, moving into a new flat and numerous friends/family events... you can say the blog has taken a back seat. All that changed when I came back from a holiday in the French countryside that allowed me to see the world in a different light and give me the time (and space) to figure out what I wanted. For months I had been running the midnight oil, always pleasing someone else rather than putting myself first. I always just thought that sometimes life gets in the way of the things you love and you just have to wait it out. I'd like to say after long hours of relaxing under the stars and even a couple bottles of red wine later, I knew what I had to do. Change was in the air.
For me, blogging isn't about getting another follower on instagram or making another paycheck. It's feeling free with my words, seeing another perspective on the world and sharing this crazy adventure I call life. It's not always easy to write the perfect things or show you what goes best with that new zara shearling coat, but it's showing your vulnerability to those you may never even meet. It's being real and being yourself. Not everything will sound as evolutionary as I may like, but it's giving it a go even when all the odds may be against you. (i.e. the instafame craze)
It's getting back to what I do best: writing. It's always been a passion of mine to freely write, but something I don't always give myself the time to do. This blog will not only be about my latest fashion style, but culture, traveling, art, history.... all the passions I share will be shown in this space. It's back to what I do best and sharing my life abroad with you.
